A photographic and filmic series created by Mia Sato O’Neal, introducing her debut solo exhibition at 229 Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. Shot in part within a mountain rest area designed by Japanese architect Togo Murano and left largely forgotten since Japan's bubble era, the series unfolds in
collaboration with Mexico City-based latex designer Edith Flores. Two worlds blend through fashion and visual consciousness, reimagining the past while simultaneously probing into the uncertainty between the contemporary state of society and self.
